The work consists of furnishing and installing two generators with automatic transfer switches, miscellaneous electrical improvements, and all related appurtenances. Bid security must be provided as specified. All bidders must comply with applicable federal requirements, including the American Iron and Steel Requirement and Build America, Buy America requirements. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, and award the contract to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. Bidders must submit, upon request, a list of projects successfully completed in the last two years with similar scope and approximate construction cost. All bidders must comply with Alabama's Contractor Licensing Law and be certified for the type of work being proposed. Bidders must display their license number on the outside of the proposal envelope. No bidder may withdraw a bid within 60 days after opening. Late bids will not be considered.
