Renovation of a municipal facility in Tallahassee, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Bid packages include Concrete, Building Envelope Repair, Doors & Hardware, Flooring, HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Sprinkler for the DMS Florida State Capitol Complex Knott Building, covering exterior envelope, window replacement, sealing, and painting. Access to contract documents requires submission of a Non-Disclosure Agreement. Bidders are responsible for reviewing all supplements and addendums. Sealed bids must be hand delivered, shipped, or emailed. Childers Construction reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in bids. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidders must be prequalified by the Construction Manager. Those not previously prequalified for the year must submit the required form at least 7 business days prior to the bid deadline. Bid security of 5% is required for every bid package. Performance and Payment Bonds are required for bids exceeding $100,000.
