Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sherwood, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work consists of the overlay of approximately 7,871 tons of Hot Mix Asphalt Concrete and approximately 56,354 square yards of cold milling of existing asphalt/concrete. The City reserves the right to reduce the total amount of work as required by budget restraints, and work added or remaining shall be at the same unit price as submitted in the proposal. Proposals will be considered on the basis of cost, the bidder’s financial responsibility, their equipment, and their past performance in completing similar work. A bid bond at the amount of five percent of the bid proposal must be submitted with the bid proposal. The City of Sherwood reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, and to accept the proposal deemed to be in their best interest.
