The project involves work at the Ballard Park Soccer Complex, specifically the Stadium Field Sub-Drainage. Sealed or electronic bids are to be submitted for the named project to the City of Tupelo. Bid documents are available as paper prints or PDF files, and must be ordered through the designated website. Proposals must be submitted in duplicate, using the blank forms provided, and include a Proposal Security in the form of a Certified Check or acceptable Bid Bond amounting to at least 5% of the Base Bid. This security will be forfeited as liquidated damages if the bidder fails to adhere to the proposal's terms, execute the contract, and post the required Performance Bond. Bids exceeding $50,000.00 must comply with the Mississippi Contractors Act of 1985, requiring a Certificate of Responsibility. Each bid over $5,000.00 must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond with approved surety. The Owner retains the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities.
