The work to be performed provides for the improvement of Sunset Way Landslide and Utility, including but not limited to temporary erosion control, sawcutting, roadway excavation, removal of pavement and sidewalk, installation of cement concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, asphalt overlay, utility trenching, adjustment of existing utilities, installation of stormwater drainage (including 85 lineal feet of 12-inch, 24-inch, and 10-inch PVC storm pipe; 72 lineal feet of 12-inch and 8-inch ductile iron storm pipe), a stormwater interceptor trench, asphalt ditch, paving, installation of approximately 1,000 lineal feet of 12-inch and 8-inch ductile iron water main and appurtenances, and property restoration. Proposals shall be on forms included in the contract documents and shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond made payable to the City of Issaquah in an amount not less than 5% of the amount of the bid. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the time announced for the opening, or before the award and execution of the contract, unless the award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty-five days. The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities and to reject any or all bids and to award this contract to a single bidder based on the lowest responsible bid for the aggregate total of all schedules.
