Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Issaquah, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work to be performed pro-vides for the improvement of con-crete sidewalk, and curb and gut-ter at select locations within the City; and construction of curb ramps at intersections to meet ADA standards. Work, includes roadway excavation, asphalt pave-ment patching; utility adjust-ments, accessible pedestrian. push button installation for traf-fic signals and other work related to sidewalk improvements in the City of Issaquah. Proposals shall be on the forms included in contract, documents and shall be accom-panied by a certified check or bid bond (with an authorized surety company as surety) :made pay-able to the City of Issaquah, in an amount; not less than 5% of the amount, of the bid. The City of Issaquah reserves the right to waive any irregulari-ties or informalities and to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the time announced for the opening, or before the award and execution of th.e contract, unless the award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days. The City of Issaquah here-by gives public notice that it; is the policy of the City to assure full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; the Civil Rights Restoration. Act; of 1.987, Executive Order (E.0.) 12898; and related statutes and regulations in all programs and activities. Title VI requires that no person in the United States of America shall, on the ground of race; color, nation-al origin, or sex be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise sub-jected to discrimination under any program. or activity for which the City receives Federal finan-cial assistance.
