The Southern Boone County R-I School District is seeking bids from qualified contractors to perform concrete improvements at Southern Boone County High School, 14520 S. Crump Lane in Ashland, MO 65010. Bidders are to submit sealed proposals for the project labeled as Southern Boone County R-I High School - Bleacher Concrete Pad. Contractors and subcontractors must comply with the State of Missouri, Division of Labor Standards, Boone County Annual Wage Order No. 32, Section 010. Prevailing wage is required only if the total bid exceeds $75,000. Bids submitted after the specified date and time will not be considered and will be returned unopened. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in the bids if deemed to be in the best interest of the District. All questions regarding the RFP or bid documents must be submitted before Tuesday, March 3, 2026 to jrsimmons@sbschools.us This bid includes all work necessary to complete the project: o Site survey and layout per American Aluminum Seating design drawings o Site preparation, excavation, and grading o Removal and reinstallation of chain link fence and poles from staging area for access to work site (page 10). o Installation of 4" of 1" clean, firmly compacted fill material or installation of 4" of 1" base rock compacted o Form installation and leveling to specified tolerances (1/4" per 10') o Installation of welded wire mesh reinforcement (6" x 6" W2.9) o Concrete: 4000 PSI with air mix, 5" minimum thickness & 12" thickened edge o Installation of control joints (max 15' OC) with joint sealer o Proper concrete curing and protection (minimum 28 days before bleacher installation) o Site cleanup and seed & straw o Removal and disposal of all excavated materials
