Bids are being accepted for mowing and trimming services at two locations: the Shelbina Aquatic Facility and Park (614 E College) and the City Office/Police Department (116 E Walnut). Bids must be quoted per mowing (approximately 23 cuttings) and submitted separately for each site. Bidders must be at least 18 years old and provide proof of insurance with minimum coverage of $1,000,000 liability, $2,000,000 aggregate, $5,000 medical, and worker’s compensation coverage if applicable. The successful bidder must provide a certificate of insurance listing the City of Shelbina as an additional insured, sign a hold-harmless agreement, ensure all personnel are authorized to work in the U.S. according to federal and state laws, include documentation of participation in the federal work program with their bid, and sign an affidavit confirming unauthorized aliens will not be employed for this work. Bids must be signed and delivered to the City Office (116 E Walnut, Shelbina, MO 63468) by 12:00 Noon, March 6, 2025. The envelope must be clearly labeled: “Mowing Bids.” The City of Shelbina reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
