Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Memphis, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story below grade recreation facility; and playground / park / athletic field.
The new building will consist of an at-grade floor slab with a 3-foot step-down section within the area of the holding tank/viewing area of the structure. The step-down section of the slab will extend about 3 feet below grade. Floor slab loads will range between 300 to 500 psf. The slab will be covered by a steel-framed canopy supported on isolated spread footings. Addendum #1-#3 have been issued as of 3-3-2026.
