Accelerated Memphis Camera Infrastructure City of Memphis, Tennessee Categories: Security/Surveillance Systems, CCTV and Security Camera Equipment. The Memphis Police Department (MPD) is seeking quotes from qualified vendors to furnish, install, and configure video surveillance equipment and related infrastructure upgrades at various MPD facilities. Axis brand video surveillance equipment was selected by the construction team and installed at MPD's two newest facilities. Axis is therefore the proffered product for this project. The objective of this project is to enhance physical security, strengthen cybersecurity, and expand video coverage at MPD facilities. The selected vendor shall provide a turnkey solution including all materials, labor, configuration, and testing necessary to ensure full functionality of the upgraded surveillance systems. Supply and installation of Axis-brand IP cameras, associated mounting hardware, and required licensing. Installation of necessary network infrastructure, including cabling, PoE switches, and related components. Configuration of new cameras. Labeling camera angles/FOV within the Axis VMS. Credentialing an MPD administrator on allsystems. Testing, calibration, and documentation of all installed devices. Training for designated MPD staff on system operation and basic troubleshooting. Removal and proper disposal or return of any decommissioned equipment (if applicable).
