Reference Number 0000413977 Bid Intent Not Available The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to remove existing interior finishes and install new finishes as specified herein. The Work includes, but is not limited to: Removal of existing carpet flooring Removal of existing wallpaper Removal of existing suspended (drop) ceiling system Installation of painted wall finishes Installation of luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring Installation of a new suspended ceiling system 2. Demolition and Removal The Contractor shall: o Remove and properly dispose of existing carpet, padding, tack strips, adhesives, and related materials. o Remove existing wallpaper from designated wall surfaces and prepare surfaces for new finishes. o Remove existing suspended ceiling systems, including ceiling tiles, grid, hangers, and associated components. o Protect adjacent finishes, fixtures, furniture, and equipment from damage during demolition activities. o Dispose of all debris in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations. 3. Surface Preparation The Contractor shall: o Prepare wall surfaces previously covered by wallpaper to receive paint, including patching, sanding, smoothing, and priming as required. o Prepare floor substrates as necessary for installation of LVP flooring, including leveling, moisture testing, and minor subfloor repairs, if required. o Prepare ceiling areas for installation of the new suspended ceiling system. 4. Flooring Installation The Contractor shall: o Furnish and install luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring in designated areas. o Install flooring in strict accordance with manufacturer recommendations, including installation of underlayment if required. o Provide and install all necessary transition strips, trims, and edge finishes. o Ensure flooring is installed square, level, properly aligned, and free of defects. 5. Wall Finishes The Contractor shall: o Prime and paint designated wall surfaces using specified paint products and approved colors. o Apply paint evenly and uniformly to produce a smooth finish free of drips, runs, lap marks, or blemishes. o Protect adjacent surfaces during painting operations and clean all affected work areas upon completion. 6. Ceiling Installation The Contractor shall: o Furnish and install a new suspended (drop) ceiling system, including grid, ceiling tiles, and all necessary suspension components. o Coordinate ceiling layout with existing lighting fixtures, HVAC diffusers, fire protection devices, and other ceiling-mounted elements. o Install ceiling tiles level, properly aligned, and in a clean, professional manner.
