Memphis Community Schools is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced vendors for lawn care maintenance services. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing comprehensive lawn care maintenance services for the school district's properties, including: mowing grass areas to a height of 3” once per week, edging sidewalks, cracks, curbs, buildings, and athletic facilities, trimming bushes, around trees, flower beds, drainage ditches, and other obstacles, weed control in grass and flower beds (including athletic fields), keeping grass clippings out of baseball/softball diamonds, pitching areas, and tracks around the football field, removal of leaves and debris, and any additional services necessary to maintain a well-groomed appearance of the district. Interested vendors are to submit proposals containing: a company profile, service approach (including equipment to be used), a proposed schedule for services, a detailed pricing structure, references from clients, and proof of liability insurance and any required licenses or permits. Proposals will be evaluated based on experience and qualifications, quality and comprehensiveness of services, pricing competitiveness, availability and responsiveness to district needs, and reputation and references. Memphis Community Schools reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to award contracts in part or in whole, and to waive irregularities or informalities as deemed in the best interests of the District.
