The work consists of the construction of the following: Contract A - Beach Parking Lot | Pavers: Installation of permeable paving system with permeable paver base, base preparation, paver joint stone, and concrete borders. Paver bricks are located at the Village Ballpark Road site for use. Contract B - Beach Parking Lot | Asphalt Paving: Work shall consist of HMA paving at the parking lot at the Village of Egg Harbor Beach. Work also includes grading gravel prior to paving and paving operations. All bids shall be submitted online via Questcdn Vbid. All bidders shall bid in accordance with and upon the bid forms included in the contract documents. In order to be a 'plan holder' or 'bidder', each firm or organization shall either download bidding documents from the McMahon Associates, Inc. website utilizing QuestCDN or obtain a hard copy as designated. A certified check or satisfactory bid bond payable to the Village of Egg Harbor in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum bid is required as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the contract, performance/payment bonds, and insurance certification, as required, within 15 days after notice of award. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities, or accept the bid(s) which best serve the interests of the Village of Egg Harbor. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the owner.
