he work includes designing and constructing finished, stand-alone building structures at nine FAA Airport Traffic Control Tower facilities in the Northeast. Each structure will have clear interior dimensions of either fifteen by twenty feet or twenty by twenty feet and will support Tower Simulation Systems. The contractor shall provide all design services, including permits, surveys, investigations, equipment layouts, materials, and quality control, and shall ensure that exterior materials, colors, and finishes match the nearby tower and base building as practicable. Construction responsibilities include all labor, materials, equipment, furnishings, supervision, and administrative support required to deliver fully functional and approved turn-key structures. Work includes permitting, site clearing, investigations, earthwork, foundations, structural elements, utility infrastructure, HVAC and electrical systems, interior finishes and lighting, pedestrian walkways, exterior lighting, and native landscaping around each structure. The contractor shall provide complete quality control and quality assurance throughout design and construction to meet FAA requirements. The performance period is one hundred twenty calendar days from issuance of the notice to proceed.
