Contractors must sign in and obtain a visitor pass at the main Entrance Security Desk prior to any interior or exterior building or site review. If unable to attend the non-mandatory pre-bid conference, bidders may coordinate inspection of the school grounds at a different time/date through VBCPS Project Manager Fred Reynolds by e-mailing him at fred.reynolds@vbschools.com. Bidders are not permitted to access the schools outside of the non-mandatory pre-bid conference without prior coordination with Fred Reynolds. The work includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of existing play surface, addition of new play surface area, replacement of existing shade structures and addition of new shade structure and column supports. All work shall be completed in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications. B. Substantial Completion shall be achieved no later than August 14, 2026. C. In the occurrence Contract Time is extended beyond August 21, 2026, due to Owner acknowledged delays, change orders or other reasons for time extensions, all work shall be performed between the hours of 4:00 pm and 11:00 pm on Mondays through Thursdays, and between 4:00 pm Friday to 6:00 pm. Sunday for weekends. Weekend work requires 48 hours notice for VBCPS to provide access.
