Project No: 422003.08 CSP - Crosby Community Center HVAC Controls Upgrades for the Office of the County Engineer (Estimated Budget $1,636,424) Vendors shall assemble at the front door reception area. A site visit for vendors to inspect the work area will immediately follow the pre-proposal conference. The pre-proposal conference and site visit will not be rescheduled due to tardiness or any other issue(s) that may arise; no exceptions. The project includes the replacement of six (6) air handling units (AHUs), including associated fresh air systems and downstream ductwork for each unit. New electrical service shall be provided to all AHUs. The system shall be redesigned and rezoned, with consideration given to reducing the number of AHUs and incorporating variable frequency drives (VFDs) to shorten the chilled water pump circuit and improve system efficiency. For energy efficiency and maintenance purposes, consideration shall be given to incorporating gas heat, including fresh air supply to the mechanical room and high-pressure ductwork. The design shall incorporate fan-powered boxes with heating coils and carbon dioxide (CO2) sensors in each room to enhance occupant comfort and ventilation control. The selected firm shall coordinate with Automated Logic Controls to ensure compliance with design specifications and installation requirements. The rates quoted on the BidTable must be all-inclusive. "All-inclusive" shall be construed as costs incorporating all charges for labor, material, equipment and any other cost incurred. No separate line item rates or charges will be accepted.
