Mechanical and electrical upgrades for North Brunswick High School under the Energy Savings Improvement Program (ESIP). Bidders must submit sealed bid proposals as a single lump sum. All bid forms must be completed as designated and every requirement in the instructions and specifications must be complied with. Bids must include a guarantee in the form of a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, not to exceed $20,000. The project is subject to Surety and payment/Performance bond requirements. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects and in the best interest of the customer and Schneider Electric. Bidders and subcontractors for General Construction, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical or other applicable trades must be pre-qualified prior to submission. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidders and subcontractors must be pre-qualified prior to the submission of bids pursuant to the State of New Jersey Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC); contractors must be DPMC rated for the applicable scope of work. Bidders must be classified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction for their respective disciplines. All bidders must comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. and N.J.S.A. 10:2-1. An Initial Project Workforce Report (Form AA-201) will be required from the successful bidder.
