The project consists of road improvements at various locations. The base bid includes work on Level Road, Rivers Edge Drive, Runnymeade Drive, Waterfall Circle, Creekview Way, Meadow Road, Soni Drive, and Lloyd Lane. The scope of work at these locations includes traffic control, leveling course (specified in tons for each location), 1 ½” milling (specified in square yards for each location), and 1 ½” wearing course (specified in square yards for each location). Additional tasks include installation of speed humps (3 each), base repairs (50 square yards), storm sewer adjustments (removal and replacement of "C" Top and "M"), and manhole casting adjustments as determined by the sewer authority (0”-3”). Alternate Bid "A" includes additional work on Archer Court, Chaucer Court, Sky Drive, Brandywine Drive, Prescott Circle, and Ashton Road. The work required at these locations follows the same scope as the base bid: traffic control, leveling course, 1 ½” milling, and 1 ½” wearing course, with specific quantities listed for each location. Bids must be sealed and submitted in a clearly marked envelope. Bidders are required to furnish a 10% bid bond, 100% performance bond, and 100% payment bond. Prevailing state wage rates and the Public Works Employment Verification Act apply. Security deposit with the bid is required, in accordance with the instructions to bidders. The township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to make an award as deemed most advantageous.
