Site work for a water / sewer project in Hanapepe, Hawaii. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be performed under this contract shall consist of installation of the 12-inch Primus Liner system in a 16-inch HDPE potable mainline that is a transmission line from the Hanapepe Water System to the Eleele Water System. at the discharge side of the Eleele Booster Pumping station and runs up the side of a cliff to the Eleele Steel Tanks located at the top. Excavation of the 16-inch HDPE mainline where it transitions to a 12-inch at the top is required, there is ample room to perform this work. The bottom of the 16-inch HDPE mainline is above ground on piers where it transitions to the 12-inch and accessible without excavation. The 16-inch HDPE mainline is located within a 27 steel pipe for the majority of the run up the cliffside. If work requires traffic control for mobilization of equipment for the excavation pit at the top, Contractor Deadline: Receipt of Questions / Comments / Material Substitutions March 10, 2026 Deadline: Notice of Intent Not Applicable Departments Responses to Questions / Comments / Material Substitutions March 17, 2026 The Manager and Chief Engineer also reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, if deemed to be in the best interest of the Department of Water.
