The work under this contract shall include the removal and disposal of 150 LF of timber bulkhead and the construction of 150 LF of new vinyl bulkhead, 500 SY stone restoration. The Contractor shall provide all other necessary incidental work to complete the project as specified. Prospective Bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the job site prior to submission of bid to familiarize themselves with site conditions. Official documents must be purchased from Owen, Little & Associates for bid submission. No downloaded documents will be accepted. Bids may be submitted by mail or in person at any time prior to the time for receiving and opening. Bidders are required to comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. A Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Borough of Beach Haven in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security, but not more than $20,000. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for the amount of the total bid within ten days from the date of written acceptance of the proposal. Certificates of Insurance will also be required. The Borough of Beach Haven reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty days after receipt thereof and reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted.
