The project proposes the replacement of two (2) emergency generators for DCR Quabbin Reservoir facilities located in Belchertown and Ware, Massachusetts. The project will result in the removal and installation of two new generator units complete with upgraded automatic transfer switches, remote monitoring systems and fuel storage systems. The project consists of electrical and site modifications as indi- cated on the drawings. The project is being funded in-part with funding approved from the Federal Emergency Man- agement Agency (FEMA). Each bid must be accompanied by a bid deposit, payable to the Department of Conservation and Recreation in the amount of 5% of the bid. The work is to be accomplished within 270 calendar days of a notice to proceed.
