The Department of California Highway Patrol invites prospective bidders to review and respond to Invitation for Bids (IFB) Number 25C655004 for HVAC Replacement Services at the CHP San Gorgonio Area Office. Compliance with the instructions in the IFB is required when preparing and submitting a bid. Bidders must meet a minimum Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation requirement of 5%. There will be a mandatory walk-through at the CHP San Gorgonio Area Office. No bid will be considered from a contractor who did not sign in at the mandatory walk-through. The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms that are able to provide HVAC Replacement Services. Contractor agrees to provide to the Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) San Gorgonio Area Office, the services described herein: furnish all supplies, materials, tools, equipment, labor, personnel, and supervision; pay all taxes, insurance, bonds, license and permit fees, and all other direct and indirect costs necessary to provide Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Replacement Services as set forth in this Agreement. The services shall be performed at: Department of California Highway Patrol San Gorgonio Area Office 195 Highland Springs Avenue Beaumont, CA 92223 File No.: 076.A20641.25C655004 DVBE (5%) Questions Due March 19, 2026 @ 10:00 AM - Bidders shall submit questions via email to Jared Cartwright at jared.cartwright@chp.ca.gov A. UNIT #2: Remove and replace the existing 7.5-ton rooftop HVAC package unit. Scope includes installation of a new electrical disconnect, fuses, electrical whip, and a new economizer to provide required ventilation air to the conditioned space. B. UNIT #8: Remove and replace the existing 5-ton rooftop HVAC package unit. Scope includes installation of a new electrical disconnect, fuses, electrical whip, and a new economizer to provide required ventilation air to the conditioned space. C. Furnish and install new 208/230V, 3-phase packaged rooftop HVAC system. D. Include start-up, test, and balance of system to ensure proper operation. E. Provide and install adapter curb (if required for compatibility with existing roof curb). Verify and ensure all electrical connections meet guidelines. F. Fabricate and install custom sheet metal transition fitting, confirming fully insulated.
