The City of Jacksboro is accepting bids from qualified contractors to clear two acres of property on Highway 3344. The scope of work includes clearing all trees and brush from the property for the City to relocate the bulk water station currently located on South Main Street. The selected contractor will be responsible for conducting a thorough assessment of the property and executing the project in compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards. Three printed copies of bid proposals must be sealed and submitted. Sealed bids must be marked on the envelope exterior with the words "RFB Tree and Brush Removal," the opening date and time, and the name and address of the individual or company offering the bid. All bids received after the opening time will be considered non-responsive and returned to the bidder unopened. Questions pertaining to the request for bids must be submitted in writing. The City of Jacksboro reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to waive any informality in any bid, and to accept the bid which is, in its discretion, in the best interest of the City of Jacksboro.
