Belknap Street Jacksboro, TX 76458 Jacksboro Independent School District (JISD) is requesting proposals from qualified contractors for the installation of a 6-foot-tall black ornamental iron security fence and manual slide gate system at Jacksboro Middle School. The purpose of this project is to improve perimeter security while maintaining a professional and durable appearance. The project includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for the installation of: Fence: - Approximately 1,200 linear feet of 6-foot-tall black ornamental iron fence. - Fence shall have a 2-rail design with flat top and flat bottom. - Fence shall be powder-coated for durability and corrosion resistance. - Posts: 3" square posts with post caps, set per manufacturer specifications. Gates: - One walk gate approximately 48 inches wide, matching the fence design (flat top). - One manual single slide gate approximately 25 feet wide, constructed as follows: o Frame built from 2" square tubing with 2" x 4" bottom rail tubing. o Gate shall match the fence design and be a flat-top style. o Gate shall operate on a V-track anchored to concrete using Tapcon concrete anchors. o Include 4" sealed bearing V-grooved wheels with 4" wheel boxes. All work shall be performed in accordance with industry standards and applicable building codes. Contractor shall verify all measurements and site conditions prior to installation.
