Belknap Street, Jacksboro, TX 76458. The City of Jacksboro is seeking proposals from qualified firms or individuals for roof replacement of the historic GT&W Depot building located at 302 S. Main Street, Jacksboro, Texas 76458. The existing roof is an antique clay tile roof dating from the early 1900s. Proposals for each type of roofing material that any responding roofing professional wishes to propose are requested, and proposals offering multiple roofing material options are preferred. Proposals must include a detailed description of the proposed roofing system(s) including materials, warranties, and installation methods; estimated project start and completion dates; at least two references for similar projects completed by the offeror; details of insurance coverages provided by the offeror (Worker's Compensation, Automobile Liability, Property Damage, and Commercial General Liability Insurance); cost estimates for each roofing material option provided; and any additional considerations for preservation, safety, or long-term maintenance of the historic structure. The City will not provide any equipment or personnel. All disposal of old roofing material and debris, including securing any required permits, is the offeror's responsibility. Sealed submittals must be delivered to the Office of the City Manager by the specified deadline in three hard copies and one flash drive. No late, unsealed, or electronic submissions will be accepted. The outer sealed envelope must clearly state the project name, opening date and time, and the offeror's name and address. The City reserves the right to reject any or all submittals, waive formalities, or proceed otherwise when in the City's best interest.
