Renovation of a mixed-use development in Clearwater, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a industrial development; and industrial development.
The City of Clearwater Community Redevelopment Agency seeks a buyer for Lot 1, Greenfield Subdivision, Parcel I.D. Number 10-29-15-33300-000-0010, for use consistent with the North Greenwood Community Redevelopment Area Plan. The preferred development is for the redevelopment or reuse of the site by a local business headquartered in Clearwater, primarily involved in warehouse distribution and light-manufacturing activities. The proposal should offer community benefits such as new job creation, commitment to hiring individuals from the community redevelopment area, minimum capital investment to facilitate tax increment growth, and substantial economic benefit to the redevelopment area and the City of Clearwater. Proposals must be no more than 1,500 words and must include: (1) a purchase price offer of at least $2,000,000, (2) a project description (size, appearance, uses), (3) a financial presentation (sources and uses of funds, project budget, projected employment, and median annual salary), and (4) a detailed development schedule including acquisition and construction. The Agency reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive technicalities, readvertise, and otherwise conduct the process as it deems in the public's best interest. Proposals should be submitted electronically through the specified website, or by mail or hand-delivery to the city address provided. E-mail or fax submissions are not accepted. Late submittals will not be considered. Instructions for electronic submission are provided, including the online form to use and how to upload documents.
