Bids are requested for a general construction contract or work described in general for the CEC Student Parking Lot project. Bidders and their subcontractors must possess the appropriate State of California contractor's license and maintain the license throughout the duration of the project. Bidders also must be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to the Labor Code. Bids submitted by contractors who are not properly licensed or registered will be deemed nonresponsive and not considered. Only prequalified bidders are typically eligible, but prequalification is not required for this project. Bidders must submit sealed bids marked with the name and address of the Bidder, Project name, Project Number and/or bid number, and time of bid opening. Bids must be submitted to the designated office by the specified date and time. All required documents and forms as specified must be included. Bids not submitted on the required forms will be deemed nonresponsive and not considered. Additional sheets may be included if necessary to fully respond to requested information. Telephones will not be available at the office for use by bidders or their representatives on the date bids are opened. Bids will be opened at or after the indicated time for receipt of bids.
