Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ottawa, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project consists of Chip Seal Street Rehabilitation for the City of Ottawa, Kansas, known as BG Project 26-1004L. The scope of work involves the following approximate major quantities: 78 gallons of CRS-1H Emulsified Asphalt, 474 tons of CO Cutbac Asphalt, 3/8"x1/4" Trap Rock Cover Material, 31,643 square yards of Manipulation (Chip Seals), 3,920 square yards of Manipulation (DAST), 9,254 linear feet of Pavement Markings, and 1 lump sum of Traffic Control. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a lump sum and unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. The project requires compliance with applicable county, state, and federal provisions pertaining to nondiscrimination, labor standards, equal employment opportunity, and affirmative action on public contracts. Bid security must be provided according to the instructions to bidders.
