Upgrades and improvements to the City drinking water supply facilities. The scope of the project includes the construction of a new filtration plant or increase in the capacity of the existing one due required to the densification of the population in order to increase the production of drinking water and meet current and future needs. In case of a new plant the construction will be carried out on part of André-J.-Côté park just west of the current plant located at 62 boulevard Marie-Victorin. The plant will supply drinking water to the cities of Candiac, Saint-Philippe, Saint-Mathieu, Sainte-Catherine and Saint-Constant. Note. For the project implementation the owner has included in its current capital expenditure plant an amount exceeding $8M. TIMELINE: The owner is currently requesting proposals from engineering professional consulting firms for the preparation of the project concept study. Reference number: 20125996. Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2026-03-09. Award by packages is not planned. Proposals submitted electronically are accepted via the SEAO, with two documents.
