Woodsen Circle Water Main Replacement for the City of West Columbia. The Information for Bidders, Bid Form, Contract, Plans, Specifications, Bid Bond, Performance Bond and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the locations given. The bidder must be an official plan holder and on the project's plan holders list, maintained by AECOM Technical Services, Inc., for the bid to be considered. Each bid must include security in the form of a certified check or bid bond made payable to the Owner in an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The provisions of the security are as described in the Information for Bidders. Bids are invited upon the several items and quantities of work as follows: Approximately 2,831 LF 6-inch, 859 LF 2-inch water line, 165 LF of 12" steel casing bore and jack; installation of gate valves, fire hydrant assemblies, restrained joint fittings, connections to existing water lines; installation of new services lines to existing water meters; abandonment of existing water lines and valves; removal and replacement of asphalt roadway, asphalt and concrete driveways, and concrete sidewalks; and all other necessary appurtenances as specified and depicted in the Contract Documents.
