The project is expected to be awarded on the next two weeks** Improvements to the Lakeside and Sesame Street Lift Stations include renewing the interior surface of the wet wells and valve vaults; replacement of pumps, floats, guide rail systems, piping, valves, and fittings in the dry wells; installation of new concrete lids with aluminum access doors and safety grates to provide fall protection for the wet wells and dry wells; installation of electrical control panels with control improvements that detect incoming service abnormalities including phase-loss, unbalance, phase reversal under voltage, and over voltage; and control system improvements to provide rapid cycling protection, automatic cutout of pumps, provide local and direct phone alarms to operators, and generator receptacles for a portable generator.
