Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Melrose, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
**As of April 2, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on April 13, 2026.** EQ Basin o EQ Basin improvements include constructing an overflow to EQ Tank 1. The overflow will be diverted to the Headwork Building through existing piping. RAS Metering Vault o Improvements include the installation of electric actuators on three existing weir gates. o Work will include all electrical, controls and programming. Aeration Basins o Installation of dissolved oxygen probes in each basin for refined blower control. o Work will include electrical, controls and programming. Control Building o Removal of Pump 2 and Pump 3 from Wet Well #1 and the replacement with one, larger Pump 2. o Work will include piping, electrical and controls modifications. Blower Building o Upgrading of RAS pumps 1, 2 and 3. o Upgrading of Trickling Filter Effluent Pumps 1 and 2 o Removal of Blowers 1, 2 and 4 and replacement with 1 or 2 blowers o Piping modifications, including valves. o Coordinated RAS bypass(es) to facilitate valve replacement. o Other building improvements will include HVAC and the removal of the electrical gear. o Removal of electrical equipment. Electrical Building o Installation of a precast building for electrical equipment. o New electrical equipment in building. o Concrete pad for precast building. Site Utilities o Yard Piping o Electrical QA date - 3-13-2026
