Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Melrose, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Major quantities for the Work include removal of 300 linear feet of curb and gutter, reclamation and removal of 6,800 square yards of bituminous pavement, removal of 750 cubic yards of excess millings, installation of 1,750 tons of bituminous paving, 200 square feet of 6-inch concrete walk, and 300 linear feet of concrete curb & gutter design B618. Bids will only be received electronically. Contractors submitting an electronic bid will be charged an additional $42 via QuestCDN.com. Prospective bidders must be on the plan holders list through QuestCDN for bids to be accepted. Bids must be completed according to the Bidding Documents prepared by SEH. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each bid. Contractors must submit a signed statement under oath verifying compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 16C.285, subdivision 3. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities, and to award the contract in the best interests of the Owner. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than 10 days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
