The City of Fort Meade City Commission is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified consultant firms licensed in the State of Florida with demonstrated experience in Engineering Design, Planning, Preliminary Engineering, and Construction and Engineering Inspection (CEI) Services on a Continuing Contract basis for projects funded through Supplemental Hurricanes Helene and Milton (SAHM) Funding. The selected firm(s) will provide general engineering services for various utility, fire protection, and road improvement projects, including those identified in the SAHM application, and serve as the City's Planning, Preliminary Engineering, Design, and/or CEI consultant for assigned projects, as well as projects included in the City's Capital Improvement Plan and funded through State Revolving Fund (SRF) Facilities Plan, SAHM Funding, USDA Rural Development and/or Hurricane Funding, Resilient Florida, Florida Commerce Rural Infrastructure, Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), FEMA Hazard Mitigation, and Florida Fire Marshal programs. The City desires a firm capable of designing and administering construction contracts; inspecting construction work and activities; ensuring completion of construction according to City, Federal, and State standards, plans, and specifications; meeting permitting and agency requirements; invoicing timely and accurately; and handling all FDOT EEO, Wages, DBE, and OJT filing and requirements in a timely and responsible manner. Proposals must be sealed and submitted as instructed, and are open only to parties free of obligations and interests that might conflict with the City's best interest and professionally qualified to perform the work. By submitting a proposal, the proposer certifies full understanding of the request, scope, nature, and quality of work to be performed.
