The purpose is to solicit responses from qualified firms or individuals to provide Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services for the Manatee County Public Works New Fleet Maintenance Facility project. The selected firm will provide professional CMAR services as part of a team that includes County representatives and the County's selected design team. The project involves planning and designing a new Fleet Maintenance Facility and Administration Offices to replace the outdated structure at 1100 26th Ave E, Bradenton, FL, with a new facility to be constructed on County-owned land near Lena Rd. The current building is in poor condition, poses safety and operational risks, and lacks essential features. The scope includes constructing a new 52,000 square foot single-story building providing a repair garage, parts department, wash bay, crew support, administration, building services, site work, and provisions for future expansion. The objective is for the CMAR to provide all pre-construction, permitting, cost options, and construction management for the project at 1707 Lena Road, Bradenton, FL 34211. The CMAR team is expected to ensure constructability by reviewing plans throughout design, providing quality assurance throughout design, quality control during construction, and value engineering throughout project completion. The construction work will encompass all work provided in the design plans and specifications, including but not limited to earthwork, paving, grading, drainage, and utility coordination.
