Renovation of a recreation facility in Saint Ignace, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a recreation facility.
Moran Township is accepting two separate bids to restore the warming building at Silver Mountain Recreation Area located at W1931 Cheeseman Road, St. Ignace after a broken pipe caused extensive damage in January of 2025. The building includes a lodge, kitchen area, hallway, and two bathrooms. The first bid is to restore the original building. The second bid is to add outside access to one of the existing restrooms. All contractors must be licensed and insured. Bids must be received by 6:00 p.m., local time, Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Bids must be in an envelope clearly marked “Warming Building Bid” and which project is being bid. Mail to Moran Township, P. O. Box 364, St. Ignace, MI 49781, drop off in person at Moran Township Hall, W1362 U.S. Highway 2, St. Ignace, or leave in the white drop box. The Moran Township Board of Trustees reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids submitted.
