To provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, supplies, tools, and incidentals required for the spalling repairs at US1 Substation, located at 5901 Overseas Highway (MM 5.9 Gulfside), Key West, FL 33040. The Construction Documents prepared by Artibus Design LLC (Artibus) are included as Attachment 1 to this Bid. Contractor shall adhere to the plans fully unless approved by KEYS and Artibus. US1 Substation will remain an active substation during the construction. Outage coordination may be requested by the contractor to KEYS' Project Manager 3 weeks prior to requested outage. All outages must be approved by KEYS. Construction 1. Contractor shall be licensed with a General Contractors License and insured. 2. Contractor must be qualified to work in substations. 3. Ensure industry specific, sound construction principles. 4. Contractor must adhere to the Construction Documents, Attachment 1 a. Contractor must provide product specifications for all proposed materials. b. KEYS must approve all fixtures prior to Contractor ordering. 5. Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining the site in a clean condition at all times. 6. Contractor shall not unreasonably impede, interfere or delay operations or activities at KEYS facilities. 7. Contractor will be responsible for all paving, concrete, and miscellaneous groundwork necessary to return any area disturbed by construction to its previous or better condition. 8. Successful Contractor must visit the site prior to construction and carefully examine each site location, areas for staging, and means and methods to and from site. 9. Provide all tools, equipment, materials and qualified personnel necessary for the undertakings herein described. 10. Contractor is responsible for disposal of any debris resulting from demolition or construction work. 11. Provide dumpsters and lavatory facilities, as required, on-site.
