Questions Due Date: Feb 25th 2026, 12:30 PM CST Base Scope: 1. Existing Flooring: Remove the existing VCT flooring and adhesives per the environmental guidelines. 2. Substrate Preparation: Remove sub-floor ridges and bumps; fill minor low spots, cracks, and holes with filler to achieve a smooth, flat surface. 3. Prior to installation, the Contractor must perform and pass the following tests: Alkalinity (ASTM F710), Relative Humidity (ASTM F2170), Moisture Vapor Emission (ASTM 1869) 4. Install new VCT Flooring Tiles (~9,800 sq ft) per CPS SPEC 09 65 00. Markup attached. 5. Color and Pattern to be selected by the school. 6. Contractor shall perform initial maintenance per manufacturer instructions, including a light scrub and the application of five (5) coats of high-solids commercial floor polish to ensure a durable wear layer prior to building occupancy. Note: Do not install VCT flooring over expansion joints; utilize transition/edge strips as required.
