The Project Location is the Freedom Park Walking Path and surrounding area of Freedom Park, located at 6200-6228 Birmingham Street, Chicago Ridge, Illinois 60415. Removal and replacement of approximately 14,500 square feet of asphalt; removal and reconstruction of up to 1,700 square feet of walkways; installation of new asphalt walkways; removal of concrete/asphalt pads; grading; hot crack filling (up to 2,000 LF); sealcoating approximately 33,500 square feet of asphalt; traffic protection; site restoration; and related improvements. All work shall comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/). Bids must be submitted on District forms and may be delivered by hand to Frontier Fieldhouse, 9807 Sayre Avenue, Chicago Ridge, Illinois 60415, Attn: Kevin King, Director, or by functionally sealed/encrypted email to kevinking@chicagoridgeparks.com. Bids must include lump sum pricing, unit prices if applicable, references, proof of insurance, and confirmation of prevailing wage compliance. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and adjust quantities or locations within District property. Contractors must provide required insurance coverage and agree to indemnify the District as set forth in the bid documents.
