Description

Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Whistler, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) is looking to obtain quotations for the design, construction and delivery of 7 aluminum truss, recreation trail bridges. Bridges vary in length from 3.5m to 12m, see Appendix A. Successful bidder to provide engineered drawings for each bridge All bridges to be: Clear deck width of 1.5m Railings to be 1.2m finished height above deck To include two rub rails, 3mm thick, 150mm flat bar spaced evenly per side Decking to be FRP grate in a standard dark grey color All bridges are to be powder coated Pantone Brown PMS 7531C (see color spec and example) Bridge ends to provide mounting flanges, see Appendix B Load design requirements: Snow load capacity as per Appendix A Pedestrian and cycling use ATV with rider 400kg Optional - 1700kg mini excavator (priced separately) Transportation of all bridges to Whistler, off-loading by others Installation of all bridges by others
