Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Homer City, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of 5/11/2026, all bids were rejected. This project will be added to a bigger project later. The work consists of the removal of portions of the existing process piping in the Water Treatment Plant, installation of new ductile iron drain line, two flow meters, combination air/vacuum release valve, installation of a chlorine analyzer, installation of double wall chemical storage tanks, and installation of a duplex chemical feed pump system with two peristaltic metering pumps. Attendance at the prebid meeting is not mandatory but highly recommended. The work under this project consists of the removal of portions of the existing process piping in the Water Treatment Plant, installation of new ductile iron drain line, two flow meters, combination air/vacuum release valve, installation of a chlorine analyzer, installation of double wall chemical storage tanks, and installation of a duplex chemical feed pump system with two peristaltic metering pumps. The location of the work is at the existing Water Treatment Plant located near the intersection of Yellowcreek Street and Mazza Street, Homer City, Center Township, Indiana County, PA. Center Township is located approximately 50 miles east of the City of Pittsburgh in the central portion of Indiana County. Anticipated Contract Award Date: March 19, 2026 Proposed Start Date: April 13, 2026 Estimated Completion Date: August 14, 2026 Question Deadline 03/12/2026 All requests for interpretation must be received by the Engineer at least five days before the bid opening. If any person contemplating submitting a Proposal is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Drawings, Specifications or other Contract Documents, or finds discrepancies in or omissions from the Drawings or Specifications, he may submit to the Engineer a written request for an interpretation or correction thereof.
