Sealed bids are requested for separate contracts for Construction Work and Electrical Work to rehabilitate the Water Filtration Plant at Adirondack Correctional Facility, 196 Ray Brook Rd, Ray Brook, NY. Bids must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and accompanied by bid security in the specified amounts for each contract. Successful bidders will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond for 100% of the contract amount. All bidders are expected to support the policy of maximum feasible participation of New York State-certified Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) and employ minority group members and women in the performance of the contracts. Overall goals are established for MWBE, MBE, and WBE participation, as well as Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) participation for each contract. The only time for prospective bidders to visit the job site is at a designated date and time, and only those who schedule their visit in advance will be allowed to participate.
