The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the Work as found in Attachment A (PS 11 Rehabilitation Project) and according to the terms and conditions of the solicitation. The project consists of a comprehensive upgrade to Pump Station 11 to restore reliability, address structural and odor concerns, and bring the facility into compliance with current Dorchester County Water & Sewer standards. Work includes maintaining full bypass pumping during construction; removal and replacement of the access hatch and vent assembly with a Wager Model 1800 vertical odor control system; structural evaluation and rehabilitation of the wetwell including chemical grouting (if required) and application of a 125-mil Raven 405 epoxy liner; installation of three new Sulzer submersible pumps; replacement of all internal and external discharge piping with lined and coated DIP; and installation of a Rosemount 8750W magnetic flow meter. Electrical improvements include removal and relocation of the existing control panel due to H2S conditions, installation of a new non-air-conditioned control panel with soft starts, addition of lighting, SCADA integration, and installation of a diesel generator with associated transfer equipment. All materials must conform to County specifications, and the Contractor is responsible for proper disposal of removed materials. Bidders shall enter their total base bid amount for all work specified in the Scope. A fixed Owner Allowance Contingency in the amount of $50,000.00 is included and should not be included in the Base Bid pricing. The Owner Allowance will be added automatically to the Base Bid for evaluation and is only to be used if authorized for unforeseen or additional work. Contractors must examine and familiarize themselves with all existing conditions and applicable regulations prior to submitting a bid. Bids must be submitted electronically through the specified procurement portal, and late bids will not be accepted.
