Bids are being accepted for school campus lawn care, which includes mowing, trimming, spraying, and related services, to be provided as needed—approximately every two weeks, with frequency adjusted based on weather and possible additional care for school events. Mowing is not to occur during regular school hours. The contract will begin around April 14, 2026, and end around October 31, 2026. Bids can be submitted for individual schools, groups of schools, or county-wide. Contractors are responsible for damages and must provide liability insurance before work begins. Areas to be mowed will be designated by school principals, and bidders must inspect these areas with the principals before bidding, submitting a signed assurance of inspection with their bid. Principal approval is required before use of herbicides. Payment for services can be requested every two weeks or monthly, and successful bidders must provide a clear background check before starting work.
