The project is located at 141 S 4th Street, Grand Forks, ND and includes, but is not limited to, the following work: - Traffic control and site access to protect the work areas within the existing precast concrete parking ramp structure. - Concrete rehabilitation including limited areas of spandrel repair and limited areas of interior floor slab resurfacing. - Remove three hollow metal doors and sidelites and replace with new doors and sidelites within the existing rough openings. - Selective demolition of the upper level metal guardrail and metal fabrications to construct a sliding cantilever snow removal access gate and metal fabrications to reinforce existing guardrail vertical posts. - Remove and replace concrete-filled pan stairs with precast concrete stairs. - Restripe and add signs throughout the entire ground level floor area. - Add new LED interior lights at the Bruce Avenue entry/exit. - Field preparation, field priming, and field painting of new and existing metal fabrications as parts of several unit price bid items. - All work is bid as individual lump sum line items, with certain items possibly executed by the Owner to meet project budget goals. - Domestic preference for procurement of products in accordance with 2 CFR 200.322. All bids must be submitted on the provided bid form in a sealed envelope as outlined in the instructions. Each bid must include a bid bond equal to five percent of the full bid amount, and a copy of the bidder's North Dakota contractor license. Bids must comply fully with all requirements. Contracts will be awarded based on the lowest and best bid from a responsible and responsive bidder in the County's best interest. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to hold bids for up to sixty days from opening. All work must be done according to the bidding documents.
