Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fremont, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work includes road rehabilitation (full reconstruction, milling, resurfacing, grading, etc.), new sidewalk and ADA ramps, curb and gutter, storm drainage, pavement markings, related appurtenances, and site restoration. All materials and labor required for the execution of the contracts must adhere to the requirements found in the contract documents as defined in the General Conditions of the Construction Contract, and any related addenda. Instructions to bidders: Bids must be submitted in a sealed opaque envelope marked "TOWN OF FREMONT 2026 STREET IMPROVEMENTS." Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or acceptable Bidder's Bond made payable to the Owner in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the highest aggregate proposal. Approved Performance and Payment Bonds for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price are required at contract execution. Bids must be properly executed on forms provided by the Engineer, including a Non-Collusion Affidavit and the revised Indiana Contractors Bid Form No. 96. No bids can be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after opening without the Owner's consent. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities in bidding. QA date - 3-3-2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to the Engineer. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of the Bids may not be answered.
