Remodeling of a recreation facility in Saint Peters, Missouri. Completed plans call for the remodel of a recreation facility.

Question Deadline 03/04/2026 All questions regarding this Project shall be submitted to the City of St. Peters Purchasing Department in writing to Bids@stpetersmo.net under the subject line "26-134 - Rec-Plex South Ice Rink Lighting Replacement" before March 4, 2026. Sealed bids are requested for the Rec-Plex South Ice Rink Lighting Replacement. Contract documents are available online. Questions about the project must be submitted in writing to the Purchasing Department with a specified subject line. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or proposals, waive any informalities or irregularities in bidding, and to accept the lowest responsible bidder who submits a responsive bid that is most advantageous to the City. Work must be completed between June 15, 2026 and July 15, 2026 o The total number of light fixtures on A-Rink shall be reduced by a minimum of 25% compared to the existing quantity (140) o The total number of light fixtures on B-Rink shall be reduced by a minimum of 40% compared to the existing quantity (91) o Replacement light fixtures must achieve an average illuminance of greater than or equal to 80 foot-candles (fc) at 2.5 ft from the finished ice surface. o Fixtures shall be wired and configured with dimming capability via either a wireless control system or a wall-mounted dimming switch (final location to be determined). Each rink (Rink A and Rink B) shall have independent, dedicated dimming controllers. o The lighting fixture manufacturer shall maintain a physical facility located within North America capable of providing technical support, warranty service, and replacement fixtures and parts. The manufacturer shall maintain adequate in-stock inventory to support ongoing maintenance needs. o All lighting fixtures and associated components shall be UL listed and comply with all applicable North American safety standards. o Replace existing emergency egress lighting with same or greater quantity as required by code. o Contractor shall provide a photometric lighting study and diagram of the proposed layout showing fixture type and location, along with a luminaire schedule indicating fixture lumens, luminaire watts, and total watts. o Contractor to provide calculations for foot candles for the rinks and bleacher areas including average, max, min, Avg/Min and Max/Min. o Manufacturers rated run time per fixture should be at least 100,000 hours. o Contractor shall provide all hydraulic lifts (boom lifts, scissor lifts, etc.) as necessary to complete the project. cope of Work o Demolition: Demo and dispose of existing light fixtures, mounting hardware, and suspension systems. This item shall also include all labor, materials and equipment necessary to control debris. Any temporary barriers necessary to keep the public from accessing the construction area during demolition and construction. i. Contractor to supply dumpsters for demolition haul off of construction materials & spoilage. o Mounting: Replace existing suspension chains with modern AC cables at existing height per code consistent with Seismic D requirements i. Hardware, whips, junctions, etc. shall be painted white to match existing ceiling o Electrical: Securely close unused circuits NWarc, identify as abandon, with label. to code. Lighting Products o Power: Utilize existing celling power at new fixture locations where applicable. o Rink Fixtures: FHG CFI Day-Brite LED High bay (FHG36L840-UNV-M), or approved equal. o Emergency Rink Fixtures: FHG CFI Day-Brite LED High bay (FHG36L840-UNV-MEM24V), or approved equal. o Bleacher Fixtures: FHG CFI Day-Brite LED High bay (FHG12L840-UNV-M), or approved equal. o Emergency Bleacher Fixtures: FHG CFI Day-Brite LED High bay (FHG12L840-UNV-MEM08HV), or approved equal. o Key Luminiare Components: i. Metal housing and reflectors designed to facilitate thermal management and support component longevity. ii. Polyester powder-coat finish providing impact and corrosion resistance. iii. Top-mounted access plate to allow internal wiring access. iv. Sensor-ready driver compatible with future control upgrades. v. LED array boards and drivers that are field-replaceable. Bid Option - Provide and install wire guard covers on all high bay fixtures o Steel wire guard designed specifically for proposed fixture, providing protection against impact and damage.
