Village Of Lakewood NY Fairmount Triangle Stormwater Basin Improvements Project Construction of a stormwater project, including site clearing/grubbing, engineered shallow wetland, plantings, ecological features, and other related work as shown in the bid plans on a property owned by the Village. Bids shall include costs for all work as shown in the bidding documents. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, duly executed by the bidder as principal, and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the owner. A performance bond equal to 100% of the contract sum is required to be delivered at time contract is signed with owner. All qualified bidders, including Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB), are encouraged to respond. Respondents are expected to demonstrate how they will achieve the MWBE and SDVOB goals, which are 30% and 6% respectively. The Village reserves the right to waive any inconsistencies and to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) days of the date of the bid opening. Question Deadline 03/27/2026 at 12:00 PM ET Remove brush and debris as shown on E&S plan (clearing & grubbing). o Site setup and prep work, install sign, define work limits, install temporary E&S controls, temporary stockpiles, etc. o Excavate and construct infrastructure while protecting the existing clean water stream. o Construct meandering swale through micro-pools, forebay, and rock weir crests. o Install certain wildlife habitat features (rock boulders, rock outcrops, turtle basking logs) as shown. Install vegetation (trees, shrubs, plants, seed mixes,etc.) as shown. All of this work should be done by October 16, 2026. o Touch-up work in spring 2027 includes fixing any settled areas, erosion areas, and ensuring at least 90% of the vegetation is surviving. Replace any vegetation that fails to establish or show signs of decline. The project has a Minority- and Women-owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) utilization goal of 30%.
