Sealed bids are requested for a mowing contract involving weekly mowing at Marrs Township Community Park, including the areas around the entrance of the park, office building, tanks, all ball fields, soccer area, and along the walking path, covering approximately 11-12 acres. The work includes application of herbicide on approximately 2 acres of parking lot twice a year (herbicide must be provided), application of herbicide on fence lines and the internal quad area as requested, and fall brush mowing of ditches and other overgrown vegetation on the property. All equipment and labor must be provided. Labor must be performed by employees of the bidding company. Contractors must submit a certificate of insurance and provide the township with a monthly itemized invoice showing dates mowed. Extra or less mowing may be requested due to weather conditions, with agreement required prior to occurrence. Bids must show itemized rates and references, and be marked as a mowing bid. Bidders must comply with Indiana State Laws governing service contracts with township government.
