The University of Southern Indiana seeks to contract a vendor for a two-year period to provide specialized mowing, trimming, edging, and turf-maintenance services for athletic turf fields requiring reel mower maintenance. This scope covers all NCAA-regulated and practice surfaces indicated on the attached site map, including Strassweg Soccer Field, Baseball Field, Softball Field, and Practice Soccer Fields. The vendor is responsible for all labor, equipment (unless using the University-equipment option), tools, supplies, and providing trained operators with experience in reel mowing athletic turf, as well as necessary supervision. The work includes mowing all athletic playing surfaces with reel mowers, ensuring a clean, uniform cut compliant with NCAA standards, trimming and edging around designated areas, blowing off clippings from hard surfaces, removing debris before mowing, and performing consistent striping. All vendors must attend a mandatory site visit prior to submitting a bid, allowing them to inspect the mowing areas, assess terrain, evaluate access, and verify the scope of work as specified.
